Responsibilities

  • Select and load paperboard into the winder
  • Add and adjust the adhesive
  • Start the winder and adjust to meet specifications
  • Measure parent tubes and adjust the cut-off
  • Fill and monitor ink reservoirs
  • Clear jams and misfed tubes from the system
  • Perform quality checks: Measure Parent Stick, Skiving, Inside Print, Gaps inside Tube, Gluing and Ply Spread, Printing (color and pattern placement)
  • Complete production documentation
  • Maintain cleanliness of the machine and work area
  • Follow all safety rules and policies, promote a safe work environment, and report any safety violations/incidents immediately
