Responsibilities
- Select and load paperboard into the winder
- Add and adjust the adhesive
- Start the winder and adjust to meet specifications
- Measure parent tubes and adjust the cut-off
- Fill and monitor ink reservoirs
- Clear jams and misfed tubes from the system
- Perform quality checks: Measure Parent Stick, Skiving, Inside Print, Gaps inside Tube, Gluing and Ply Spread, Printing (color and pattern placement)
- Complete production documentation
- Maintain cleanliness of the machine and work area
- Follow all safety rules and policies, promote a safe work environment, and report any safety violations/incidents immediately
