Requirements

  • Knowledge of NDIS requirements, including SIL, DSOA, High-Intensity submissions, and NDIA standards
  • Ability to analyze NDIS plans, evaluate evidence, and ensure compliance and audit-readiness
  • Skills in financial analysis, modelling, costing, and ensuring funding accuracy and sustainability
  • Experience with Rosters of Care (RoCs), Programs of Support (POS), and Melba Rosters of Support (MROS)
  • Strong collaboration skills with internal stakeholders (Operations, Finance, Optimisation), people supported, families, and Support Coordinators
  • Capability to interpret financial data, prepare quotes, and support rostering and billing practices
  • Commitment to human rights, values-based approach, and The Melba Way Charter

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive and accurate SIL/DSOA submissions and MROS that align with people supported goals, routines, and approved funding
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure submissions reflect individual needs and are financially viable
  • Evaluate evidence and supporting documentation to justify funding requests and maintain NDIA compliance
  • Obtain required approvals and ensure all documentation is accurate, current, and audit-ready
  • Analyze and assess new people supported plans and changes for funding accuracy and alignment with service delivery
  • Review and update Rosters of Care and POS in response to plan changes, ensuring viability and adequate support ratios
  • Prepare Community Participation (CP) quotes and funding breakdowns for plan reviews and renewals
  • Complete yearly POS reviews and costings for ongoing sustainability and correct claiming
  • Partner with Finance and Billing teams to align RoCs and POS with funding allocations and services delivered
  • Analyze submission responses for cost neutrality, accuracy, and sustainability
  • Provide insights and financial modelling to support viability assessments and operational decisions
  • Maintain documentation for audit readiness, deliver training/resources for financial literacy, and drive continuous improvement in submission and funding processes
