High School Education, GED, or formal education/training preferred
Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn new computer applications
Good analytical skills to determine number of carts required for orders
6 months to 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, or service industry
Ability to work in a noisy fast-paced environment
Ability to climb, stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and stack individual items for long periods
Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds during loading and unloading of truck
Ability to push or pull a cart that may weigh 100 pounds and use simple tools
Ability to count items and verify against prepared lists
Demonstrated customer service and organization skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of safety procedures

Responsibilities

Identify the various lines of linen products the company offers and their respective functions
Build bulk carts by filling them with the individual linen product
Read individual customer tickets and ensure the proper product and count is loaded into the cart
Weigh carts in/out and enter data into a computer program
Use a handheld electronic scanner
Work independently or as part of a team
Ability to multitask
Assist and perform other duties as assigned
