  • Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator NRC license or certification
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior supervisory or lead role experience

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of Operations training programs following the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) principles
  • Oversight and evaluation of instructor performance
  • Professional development of personnel
  • Institute of Nuclear Power Operations evaluations and assist visits
  • Industry participation through groups such as Utilities Service Alliance, WesTrain, Nuclear Energy Institute, etc
  • Nuclear Regulatory Commission evaluations and inspections
  • Emergency Response Organization support
  • Outage support
  • Budget management support
  • Supervision of the Operations Initial or Requalification Training Program instructors
  • Provide technical and administrative guidance for training staff to improve Operator performance through training
