Requirements

  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or Spring 2027
  • Background in visual design, graphic design, brand design, photography, fine art, or a related field
  • Knowledge and expertise in all aspects of layout, typography, illustration, identity, digital production, and publishing across various channels and platforms
  • 0 - 2 years of work experience
  • Resume submission (PDF strongly preferred)
  • A portfolio showcasing relevant work, exhibiting proficiency in both digital and print design
  • Understanding of today’s media landscape and how people engage with content, with in-depth knowledge of social media, interactive communication, processes, and user-interface design for digital products
  • Experience using Illustrator, Figma, and Photoshop
  • Available for in-person work at NIKE, Inc. World Headquarters in Beaverton, OR

Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of the Art Director and alongside copywriters, narrative managers, creative directors, producers, and studio managers
  • Contribute to high-priority, real business initiatives that align with the NIKE, Inc. strategic roadmap
  • Take ownership of a scoped project to drive impact, challenging critical thinking and developing skills while fostering collaboration
  • Work on a team with the Director of Art & Design for Nike Global Football and their studio team
  • Work on a project involving graphic design, photography, video, illustration, animation, and/or spatial design
  • Help craft the art direction for photo & video shoots, ensuring content is on-brand, diverse, contemporary, desirable, and within agreed budgets
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends in fashion, design, film, art, media, and technology as relevant to Nike
