The internship is located in-person at the NIKE, Inc. World Headquarters in Beaverton, OR.
Candidates must be in their final year of school with a graduation date between Spring 2026 and Winter 2026, focusing on Footwear Design, Fashion Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, or a similar field.
Required skills include strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills; ability to create accurate 2D technical drawings; knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials; and experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote, PowerPoint, and Acrobat.
You must present a portfolio showcasing footwear design work relevant to the position, and Nike recommends 3-5 projects illustrating your process from ideation to finished product.
You will partner closely with experts like engineers, researchers, scientists, marketing, sustainability, materials, and costing teams, collaborate within the design community, and work under the direction of Senior Designers and Design Directors.
