Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in a production software development or test organization. Strong Python scripting skills, work experience with networking products, robust problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to implement automation solutions are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, discipline, quick learning, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail are also required. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of networking protocols at packet or cell level, experience with open-source P4, compilers, or network performance testing, familiarity with the Linux networking stack and hardware packet processing pipelines, and experience with containers and source management tools.
The Network Compiler Verification Engineer will author and review test plans, implement and automate test cases, and integrate tests into continuous integration systems to verify the NVIDIA DPU compiler's alignment with requirements and industry standards. This role involves designing, developing, and automating testing methodologies and frameworks to improve compiler quality, triaging problems to identify and isolate issues, reporting bugs, and monitoring and publishing test results regularly.
