Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 2 years of software development experience on the AWS platform. They should have proven experience with scripting languages such as Python and SQL, along with a good understanding of CI/CD principles and tools, including GitLab. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, coupled with effective communication and collaboration abilities, are also required.

Responsibilities

The MTS will be responsible for building new features in existing video and meta-data asset capture systems, implementing and maintaining robust, scalable solutions leveraging Python/SQL code optimized for the AWS platform. They will also leverage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring continuous integration and delivery of features, improvements, and bug fixes. Furthermore, the MTS will adhere to coding standards, best practices, and design principles, participate in code reviews, and assist in identifying performance bottlenecks while optimizing applications for remote/unassisted installation. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement security best practices, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, contributing to innovative solutions efficiently.
