Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 or earlier) and D365 Supply Chain Management implementations
  • In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain modules: Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, Product Management, Sales Order Processing, and MRP
  • Proven track record of leading multiple full life-cycle D365 SCM implementations, including data migration and third-party integrations
  • Understanding of supply chain principles, lean processes, inventory costing methods, and warehouse operations
  • Proficient in developing and interpreting functional documentation such as FDDs, process maps, and test scripts
  • Familiarity with supply chain compliance requirements, trade regulations, and global sourcing practices
  • Experience in integrating D365 SCM with systems like Transportation Management, 3PLs, or WMS tools
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into functional requirements
  • Experience with international clients, especially within the MEA region, is preferred
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with other ERP Supply Chain modules (SAP MM/WM, Oracle SCM)
  • Nice to have: Exposure to Power Platform, Azure services, or Microsoft Dataverse
  • Nice to have: Experience with Demand Forecasting and Planning modules

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain modules (Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Product Information, Sales Order Processing, and MRP)
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis, requirement gathering, business process mapping, and develop functional design documents (FDDs)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver MVPs and scalable supply chain solutions aligned with business goals
  • Drive system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, go-live planning, and post-go-live support
  • Ensure adherence to Microsoft and industry best practices across all phases of delivery
  • Support integration between D365 SCM and third-party systems (e.g., logistics, e-commerce, or EDI platforms)
  • Guide junior consultants and ensure quality deliverables through mentorship and technical leadership
  • Document solution design, configurations, process flows, and end-user guides
  • Build and sustain strong client relationships through regular communication, issue resolution, and continuous delivery of value
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the delivery framework and internal methodologies
