Responsibilities
- Consistently performs high quality MRI studies according to established protocols
- Films all MRI exams utilizing proper window and level settings
- Follows protocol for room set-up, obtains patient assessment form and injection procedures
- Demonstrates competence to perform venipuncture and follows established protocols for administering contrast medium
- Verifies order and patient identification before performing MRI exam
- Screens all patients for medical appropriateness and potential projectiles before entering the exam room
- Completes and validates patient assessment forms before patient enters the MRI room
- Provides superior customer service to patients and personnel
- Communicates effectively with all customers, displaying tact and diplomacy
- Follows appropriate safety guidelines during operation of MRI equipment
- Adheres to safety guidelines
