Requirements

  • 2–5 years of front-end/mobile application development experience (web-mobile or hybrid mobile)
  • Strong proficiency with React.js and ideally React Native or similar mobile framework
  • Solid Javascript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive-design skills
  • Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs, working with JSON and authentication flows
  • Familiarity with mobile UI/UX patterns, as well as browser/web mobile interoperability and performance optimisation
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams, using version control (Git), ticketing systems (JIRA), and collaborating cross-functionally
  • Basic understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and federal compliance (NIST, VA standards)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with product owners, backend engineers, and designers
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or a security clearance (for certain roles)

  • Working hand in hand with other engineers in building out interfaces that match designs
  • Communicating architecture choices to other team members
  • Driving the direction and format of data endpoints
  • Integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs
