Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, with over 5 years of combined experience in MLOps, DevOps, or Software Engineering. Deep experience in modern cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), including managed ML/AI services, is required. Experience with modern datastores, automating system provisioning with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), managing hosting environments, and designing/implementing platform components is essential. Proficiency in Linux and at least one high-level language like Python, along with experience in agile development and distributed, fault-tolerant systems, is necessary.

Responsibilities

The MLOps Engineer will instrument and monitor the platform stack, enhance automated system provisioning and deployment, and create robust, scalable services independent of cloud implementations. Responsibilities include isolating and responding to system failures, developing continuous monitoring strategies, and participating in on-call rotations. Key duties involve analyzing operational toolsets, recommending improvements, creating and maintaining cloud infrastructure for robotics and analytics applications, and building tools to automate monitoring and management of robot fleets, ML Ops tooling, and data workflows. The role also includes triaging issues, automating operations for fleet scaling, improving the SDLC process, and mentoring engineers in SRE best practices.
