Requirements

TS/SCI with full scope polygraph security clearance
Seven (7) years of experience as a DBA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional DBA experience on projects may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

Maintain database integrity, security, availability, and compliance
Perform disaster recovery procedures
Conduct performance analysis and tuning
Maintain indexes and perform index maintenance
Monitor database performance
Evaluate and recommend database management system products
Perform database and application server administration
Organize and format data for efficient query and storage
Create and maintain bash scripts for database maintenance tasks (e.g., rebuilding indexes, updating statistics, dump/load operations)
Run SQL agent jobs for MSSQL
Install software on Linux platforms
Utilize RedHat Ansible for database management
Manage databases via Active Directory and Centify
Utilize Salt to deploy configuration files to end nodes and perform various interrogations (ping, DNS)
Configure and manage NxLog, SALTSstack, Wazuh, and NIFI for log reading
Configure and manage HAProxy load balancers
Request, renew, and install/update PKI certificates and convert them to various formats
Familiarize with nLyte, NEO datacenter inventory management application
Automate dataflows using NIFI
Configure containerized applications using Ranger/Docker
Configure open-source platforms for container orchestration using Kubernetes
Build Virtual Machines (VMs) using Vcenter/Vsphere
