Requirements

  • TS/SCI with full scope polygraph security clearance
  • Seven (7) years of experience as a DBA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional DBA experience on projects may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

  • Conduct performance analysis and tuning
  • Maintain indexes and perform index maintenance
  • Monitor database performance
  • Evaluate and recommend database management system products
  • Perform database and application server administration
  • Organize and format data for efficient query and storage
  • Create and maintain bash scripts for database maintenance tasks (e.g., rebuilding indexes, updating statistics, dump/load operations)
  • Run SQL agent jobs for MSSQL
  • Install software on Linux platforms
  • Utilize RedHat Ansible for database management
  • Manage databases via Active Directory and Centify
  • Utilize Salt to deploy configuration files to end nodes and perform various interrogations (ping, DNS)
  • Configure and manage NxLog, SALTSstack, Wazuh, and NIFI for log reading
  • Configure and manage HAProxy load balancers
  • Request, renew, and install/update PKI certificates and convert them to various formats
  • Familiarize with nLyte, NEO datacenter inventory management application
  • Automate dataflows using NIFI
  • Configure containerized applications using Ranger/Docker
  • Configure open-source platforms for container orchestration using Kubernetes
  • Build Virtual Machines (VMs) using Vcenter/Vsphere
