Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and approximately 7 years of hands-on experience building scalable backends for product and SaaS companies. They should demonstrate approximately 4 years of experience in Golang programming, focusing on microservices and distributed architecture.

Responsibilities

The Member of Technical Staff - Backend Engineer will own core libraries, including gRPC/protobuf, OpenAPI, AuthN/AuthZ, Observability, and MongoDB, enhancing and maintaining Endor’s crucial GoLang libraries. They will also drive the development and optimization of vital core services like the API Gateway and API servers, ensuring robust and scalable infrastructure. Furthermore, they will contribute to the evolution of Endor’s polyglot monorepo using Bazel, improving the development workflow and efficiency, and enhance and optimize the continuous integration (CI) pipeline to streamline builds. Finally, they will champion observability practices to ensure product and platform reliability and availability.
