Requirements

Candidates should possess an advanced clinical degree such as RN, RRT, NP, PA, PharmD, or PhD. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical, medical affairs, or field-based role within the med tech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry is required. Strong knowledge of oncology and orthopedic therapeutic areas is preferred, along with proven experience engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), and medical societies in a scientific or educational capacity. Business acumen, including an understanding of company strategic goals, financial considerations, and stakeholder needs, is also essential.

Responsibilities

The Medical Site Lead will serve as a trusted resource for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), providing evidence-based education on disease state management and clinical best practices. Responsibilities include delivering presentations, arranging and conducting training sessions, and facilitating discussions at medical conferences and workshops to support product launches in the German market. The role involves proactively identifying and developing peer-to-peer relationships with opinion leaders to understand their needs and deliver medical data effectively. This includes identifying influential KOLs, researching their interests and challenges, setting up meetings, and developing medical communication plans. The Medical Site Lead will also build and maintain relationships with KOLs, clinical champions, and stakeholders to drive awareness and clinical adoption, collaborating with medical societies and advocacy groups to support patient care initiatives. Additionally, the role requires gathering clinical insights from the field to inform internal Medical Affairs, research, product development, and strategy, as well as analyzing field-based clinical insights to inform strategic decision-making and communicating emerging trends, barriers, and opportunities.
