Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and demonstrate clinical outcomes and benefits of Client products to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs)
  • Educate and demonstrate benefits of key products to HCPs
  • Provide medical information and coordinate educational workshops, round tables, medical forums, etc
  • Explore and identify sites for clinical trials in all stages of development
  • Function as a scientific liaison between Client and key external customers to further scientific exchange
  • Provide advanced product, scientific, and medical field support to Medical, Sales, Marketing, Managed Care, and Government
  • Develop and maintain medical (territory and account) plans in coordination with the MSL Field Director
  • Serve as organization spokesperson on advanced medical and technical projects with internal teams and external stakeholders (KOLs, academic institutions, physicians, nurse practitioners, Alzheimer’s educators, pharmacists, blood bank staff, organized providers/IDNs, MCOs)
  • Complete administrative duties accurately and timely, in line with SOPs, including compliance with guidelines, policies, legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements
  • Ensure effective administrative management of regional business and operational budgets
  • Maintain thorough understanding of Client processes and procedures, and assist other FMA members
  • Provide monthly reports on scientific support activities, including budget expenditures
  • Record all activities in customer relationship management system (e.g., VEEVA) and expenses in Concur
  • Attend assigned medical and scientific meetings to stay aware of current issues and new data, develop relationships with key providers and HealthSystems, promote appropriate use of products, and support representatives/managers
  • Combine account management skills, business acumen, and scientific expertise to enhance value and develop collaborative relationships
  • Establish medical account strategy/plan through identification and cultivation of key relationships and collaboration opportunities
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to inform development of scientific strategies to optimize products and activities
  • Collaborate with trial/study investigation sites (all phases) to ensure effective coordination, timely review, initiation, completion, and publication of study results
