PROPÓSITO DO TRABALHO

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field-based medical affairs professional with deep knowledge about specific diseases and treatments, available products and compounds under investigation (both at Lilly and competitors), as well as detailed knowledge about research, regulatory affairs, and medical education, in addition to related processes. The MSL's primary activity is to engage with scientific experts and others in the medical community to understand external research, clinical needs, respond to spontaneously solicited questions, and foster a two-way scientific dialogue. Scientific Experts are individuals recognized for their expertise in a specific area and as such, have special needs related to in-depth and up-to-date information because they develop and implement research and educate colleagues and students. By providing answers and facilitating scientific communication between the industry and the Scientific Expert community, the MSL has the opportunity to improve patient outcomes through the necessary information that directs important clinical and scientific questions.

  • Responding to Scientific Experts' questions
  • Gathering, analyzing, and sharing clinical insights and scientific intelligence
  • Facilitating research opportunities and medical education activities

PERFIL DO TRABALHO e PRE-REQUISITOS

• Education:
  • Graduation in a health science field is mandatory (Medicine, Biology, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Biomedicine, Pharmacy, or Nutrition)
  • Postgraduate studies such as a Master's and/or Doctorate will be a differential
• Experience:
  • Previous experience as an MSL is required (1-2 years)
  • Previous experience in Cardiometabolism will be a differential
• Skills and Attributes:
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage in professional relationships and networking
  • Intellectual curiosity for innovations and applications of new technologies regarding the area of science/medicine for which they are responsible (Cardiometabolism)
  • High motivation and ability to understand large amounts of scientific content that will then be communicated clearly and concisely
  • Meeting client needs regarding complex information
  • Managing priorities and projects involving multiple areas
  • Ability to work effectively and share information with a team
  • Presentation skills
  • Expertise in identifying and evaluating scientific articles
  • Familiarity with the academic community, clinical research, and continuing medical education

• Availability for national/domestic travel
• Possess a valid Driver's License category B
• Mobility to reside in BH, interior of SP (Campinas or Ribeirão Preto), or Rio de Janeiro
