Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related Health Sciences field, or be a licensed Registered Nurse, and have at least 2 years of experience in clinical safety, such as clinical research monitoring or pharmacovigilance, or a combination of both. Previous experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the job is also required, along with 2+ years of experience in clinical trials. Knowledge of GCPs for medical oversight of clinical trials and SAE processing, as well as drug development and safety reporting, is essential.

Responsibilities

The Medical Project Coordinator will assist in the management and ongoing evaluation of medical projects, ensuring consistency, alignment, and compliance. They will coordinate and review safety data, utilizing various tools, identify potential issues and resolve them, review designated sections of aggregate reports, and may help create/review safety and medical management plans. The role involves monitoring project status, escalating delays and risks, presenting at meetings, and serving as a primary point of contact for project teams. Additionally, they will assist management in training and mentoring, and contribute to strategy/business development calls.
