Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related Health Sciences field, such as a Physician’s Assistant or a licensed Registered Nurse. Previous experience providing 2+ years of clinical safety experience, including clinical research monitoring or pharmacovigilance, is required. An equivalency of education, training, and/or directly related experience may be considered in lieu of the specified experience. Knowledge of GCPs for medical oversight of clinical trials and SAE processing, as well as drug development and safety reporting, is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Medical Project Coordinator will assist in the management and ongoing evaluation of medical projects, ensuring consistency, alignment, and compliance. They will coordinate and review safety data, identifying potential issues and resolving them, and may provide summations for safety review meetings. The role involves reviewing designated sections of aggregate reports, assisting with the creation and review of safety and medical management plans, monitoring project status, and bringing up any delays or risks to stakeholders. They may present at meetings, serve as a point of contact for project teams, and assist management in training and mentoring. Additionally, the coordinator will resolve complex problems through evaluation and offer solutions, and maintain a positive and professional demeanor while collaborating within a team environment.
