Requirements

HNC/Degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline relevant to mechanical engineering
Experience working with CAD (preferably Creo)
Experience with PLM (preferably Windchill)
Drafting to BS8888 or other equivalent/relevant standard
Experienced in the design, development, and testing of mechanical or electro-mechanical systems which include safety crucial elements
Ability to produce technical drawings to quality standards
Creating designs with an emphasis on design for manufacture and assembly
Unrestricted right to work (sponsorship not offered)
Within reasonable commuting distance to Andover for on-site work each day

Responsibilities

Develop all aspects of mechanical design solutions for new and legacy products to corporate and international standards
Produce detailed design documentation to support validation of design solutions
Analyse requirements and designs using FMEA process
Assess the safety of product designs using Product Safety Hazard Analysis process
Produce technical documentation for production, installation, and service
