Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the meat department team to deliver on the business plan, communicate goals, execute company programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for members, associates, and the company
  • Work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets member expectations
  • Maintain expertise by ensuring the meat department meets standards for quality, inventory, production, equipment, safety, sanitation, and compliance
  • Share knowledge, prioritize training for the team on item specifications and equipment use, and engage with members to assist in protein selection
  • Leverage digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve shopping experience, elevate associate engagement, and make immediate business decisions
  • Drive business results through operational excellence, maintaining work areas, utilizing digital tools for forecasting/planning/production, managing inventory/ordering/staffing, and ensuring audit/compliance standards
  • Ensure meat and seafood equipment/storage systems are in working order and produce/display merchandise per layout plans
  • Teach and train the team, identify training needs, develop skills for high-quality products, encourage career growth, and source new talent
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes/practices to meet business needs by collaborating, analyzing data, monitoring results, and addressing improvements
  • Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity; assist in correcting issues
  • Lead/participate in teams by sharing resources, determining needs/priorities, coordinating assignments, providing support/feedback, and modeling adaptability
