Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; flexible to business needs to work in other areas
  • Demonstrates knowledge of business on the floor, backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and equipment operation, maintenance, and sanitization
  • Prepares meat products (e.g., cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) according to established standards; cuts boneless meat products; maintains product quality standards
  • Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology for business decisions on production, training, and product quality
  • Ensures operational excellence: maintains work area per company policies; ensures quality and date control for meat products; secures fragile/high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures proper packaging, labeling, and storage
  • Maintains positive attitude: smiles, greets, and thanks members; provides exceptional customer service and answers questions
  • Maintains clean, neat, member-ready area
  • Acts as advocate for department/club: values member experience, models high-quality service/products, executes basics at highest quality level, exhibits energy, commitment, and passion
  • Complies with company policies, procedures, standards of ethics/integrity; uses Open Door Policy
