Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members
- Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with team members; and be flexible to work in other areas
- Demonstrate knowledge of business on the floor, backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and equipment operation, maintenance, and sanitization
- Prepare meat products (e.g., cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) according to established standards; cut boneless meat products; and maintain product quality standards
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for business decisions related to production, training, and product quality
- Ensure commitment to operational excellence; maintain work area according to company policies; ensure quality and date control standards for meat products; secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored
- Be an advocate for the department and club by valuing member's experience, modeling high quality service and products, executing basics at highest quality level, and exhibiting energy, commitment, and passion
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; use Open Door Policy; apply in business processes
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; carry out tasks; communicate progress; recommend improvements; adapt to change and difficulties
