Responsibilities
- Maintaining a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members
- Providing exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have
- Maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Collaborating with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicating with team members; and being flexible to work in other areas
- Demonstrating knowledge of business on the floor, backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and equipment operation, maintenance, and sanitization
- Preparing meat products (e.g., cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) according to established standards; cutting boneless meat products; and maintaining product quality standards
- Leveraging digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilizing handheld technology for business decisions related to production, training, and product quality
- Ensuring commitment to operational excellence, maintaining work area according to company policies; ensuring quality and date control standards for meat products; securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminating waste; assisting members with purchasing decisions; and ensuring merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored
- Being an advocate for the department and club by valuing member's experience, modeling high quality service and products, executing basics at highest quality level, and exhibiting energy, commitment, and passion
- Complying with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- Completing work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identifying priorities and deadlines; carrying out tasks; communicating progress; recommending improvements; and adapting to change
