The position pays $23.00 per hour with benefits available on day 1.
The schedule is Monday-Friday on the 1st shift, starting onsite in Charlotte NC and moving to Lexington NC in April 2026. Work is onsite in a refrigerated environment at 35°F-45°F.
Candidates need to be skilled as a specialty meat cutter using knives with a minimum of 1 year experience as a meat cutter. Additional requirements include ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, read and understand customer specifications, and perform basic math functions.
The role requires continuous standing and grasping objects, frequent walking, lifting 21-50 lbs, pushing/pulling, stooping, kneeling, bending, and twisting, plus occasional sitting and lifting heavier weights, all in a refrigerated environment.
Strong candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of meat cutting experience with knives, knowledge of poultry, beef, lamb, and pork products including USDA grades, and preferred experience with band saws, laser portion machinery, NAMA guidelines, and product cut numbers.
