Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marital/Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field
Experience providing therapeutic or counseling services preferred
Required License/Certification: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or eligibility for licensure under applicable state board
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and within multidisciplinary teams
Strong documentation and organizational skills
Knowledge of behavioral health treatment modalities, diagnostic criteria, and evidence-based interventions
Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document accurately and concisely
Demonstrated cultural competence and commitment to ethical, trauma-informed care

Responsibilities

Provide individual, family, and group therapy services under the supervision of a licensed therapist or psychologist
Conduct comprehensive client assessments, including intake, screening, and diagnostic evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans that address client goals and meet state, accreditation, and agency standards
Deliver counseling and evidence-based interventions to support behavioral change and emotional well-being
Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated client care
Document all client interactions, services, and progress notes accurately and timely in accordance with agency and regulatory standards
Monitor client progress and update treatment plans as needed
Handle crisis situations, providing immediate support and coordination of emergency services
Support clients through the transition and discharge process, ensuring continuity of care
Represent the organization professionally within the community, maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality
Complete required training and continuing education to maintain compliance and professional growth
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
