The role starts on the day shift from 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM for initial ramp-up and training, then transitions within the first six months to the permanent second shift from 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM.
The position is based in Emeryville, with company offices also in Santa Clara, California.
The role requires experience with metrology instruments like micrometers, CMMs, leak testers, and multimeters, ability to conduct visual and dimensional inspections, perform functional testing per SOPs, and support root cause analysis.
You'll conduct in-process, first article, and final inspections of high-precision electrical devices, utilize metrology tools for verification, perform functional testing, record data, and collaborate with teams to troubleshoot quality issues.
A strong candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in quality inspection, proactive in enhancing processes, capable of driving continuous improvement, and skilled in tackling backlogs and implementing deviation procedures.
