Requirements

  • Junior or Senior student working toward a BS in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering at an ABET accredited university
  • Knowledge or experience with AutoCAD (plus)
  • Understanding of Lean Principles (recommended)
  • Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Excellent problem analysis and resolution skills
  • Results-driven, action-oriented, positive and energetic
  • Available to start on May 18, 2026, and participate through August 7, 2026

Responsibilities

  • Design fixtures, tooling, lifting devices etc. for machine tools, welders, robots, and assembly functions
  • Assist with the documentation of the current facility layout
  • Create layout proposals for new and/or existing areas to create or improve the safety and efficiency of the process
  • Work closely with other areas in production and support as needed to assist in completion of projects
