Requirements

Proven background in advanced reverse engineering on file-based threats
Good working knowledge of malware based automation workflows and techniques
Demonstrated experience building scalable automation pipelines for malware analysis, including integration with sandbox environments and YARA rule generation
Solid people managing skills for leading, growing, and supporting a team of threat researchers
Solid understanding of the technical requirements of threat research and reverse engineering positions to provide guidance and develop team skills
Solid interpersonal skills with a strong sense of empathy to guide employees in their career and technical paths
Ability to provide periodic hands-on technical contributions during critical phases, proof-of-concept development, and mentoring through complex analysis challenges

Responsibilities

Lead a team of threat researchers focused on understanding relevant threats and techniques in malware threatening customers
Help grow the team and support their success within the organization
Provide proper guidance and help develop the team's technical skills
Focus on team leadership and mentorship, scaling technical expertise from new college hires to senior engineers
Contribute hands-on technically during critical phases, proof-of-concept development, and mentoring on complex challenges
Understand the threat landscape and set targets for Falcon's malware detection and prevention capabilities
Map and evaluate machine learning and behavioral protection capabilities against threats, taking action to improve detection where gaps exist
Work across CrowdStrike teams to ensure optimal protection for the current threat landscape
