Degree or equivalent experience desired
Working Knowledge of Planning: Tactical, Strategic (contributes to short-term operational plans, anticipates/adapts to plan changes, monitors progress, reports variances, develops tactical plans under guidance)
Working Knowledge of Quality Management (utilizes quality indicators, adheres to processes, applies continuous improvement, uses evaluation tools like walkthroughs/inspections, works with QA methods)
Working Knowledge of Collaborating (participates in collaborative processes, initiates meetings under guidance, communicates shared goals, promotes collaboration across groups, solves problems collaboratively)
Working Knowledge of Influencing (develops persuasive arguments, discusses organizational culture, uses active listening/probing, identifies decision makers, presents ideas persuasively)
Working Knowledge of Problem Solving (knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing problems)

Responsibilities

Managing the team of Quality Inspectors, Junior Engineers to govern the Quality gates, IPV, Testing and PDI
Interacting with cross functional team members to determine root cause of quality issues and ensure that corrective and preventive actions are implemented
Analyzing non-conformance data and maintaining quality system documentation
Participating in and offering technical support to internal and external audits; following up response of corrective action from audit
Work in a team environment to develop and implement best practices that emphasize defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste and provide for continuous improvements in meeting all customer requirements
Take care of Material Review Committee (MRC) to monitor the internal rejections, accounting in SAP and drive corrective actions
Manage QMS / IMS documentation and support in audits and closure of Nonconformance if any
Oversees the administration and continual improvement of quality management systems
