Requirements

  • Relevant formal training in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity or related fields
  • Senior level (minimum 15 years of relevant experience)
  • Deep expertise in cybersecurity concepts, international standards, risk management, and technologies
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and advanced knowledge of cloud architecture and security concepts
  • Demonstrated success in IT solution delivery and excellent track record of implementing optimal strategies
  • Experience in managing local and offshore operational SOC teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to mobilize employees’ effort and engagement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in French and English to clearly articulate information to various stakeholders
  • High level of accountability with the ability to think and act proactively in a stimulating and evolving environment
  • Knowledge or experience in the financial markets and the hedge fund industry is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Manage and upskill a global team of professionals and consultants (variable size of 6-10+ individuals)
  • Enhance and implement comprehensive cyber security standards, policies, procedures and protocols
  • Oversee daily operations (monitoring, detection, and incident response), manage security tools and systems, and conduct risk and vulnerability assessments
  • Lead the cybersecurity incidents response, mitigation and subsequent root cause analysis
  • Ensure the security of all solutions, including cloud computing (specifically Azure and M365), data analysis, business intelligence, application security, and artificial intelligence
  • Conduct and be responsible for the third-party risk assessment process
  • Develop a deep understanding of Innocap’s operating model to effectively evaluate and improve processes by enhancing operational standards, ensuring scalability, and staying ahead of technology developments
  • Define and deliver the strategic roadmap and drive enhancements with cost-effective solutions to optimize performance
  • Accountability for cyber security compliance and governance, including the SOC 2 auditing process
  • Serve as escalation point, foster inter-departmental collaboration and report to senior management
