Expertise in offshore and domestic fund accounting and administration for alternative funds
Ability to manage delegation of tasks to team members

Responsibilities

Main contact for clients, demonstrating expertise in fund accounting
Manage delegation of funds to the team
Coordinate/onboard new fund set ups
Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams
Ensure accurate and thorough accounting packages are provided
Coordinate and support year-end audit engagements
Perform due diligence for client compliance
Adhere to Anti-Money Laundering policies
Generate and reconcile all accounting reporting (e.g., month-end valuation reports)
Review and approve month-end valuations
Authorize wire payments from fund’s escrow accounts
Correspond with investment managers regarding day-to-day inquiries
Connect with investment managers, transfer agents, and sales & service teams to resolve issues
Collaborate with internal technology and vendor support for system issues
Conduct performance appraisals, monthly one-on-ones, and provide career pathing/training
Ensure staffing requirements are met through hiring and interviewing
Provide and champion a team environment, including individual development and disciplinary action
Support new business development and relationship teams for prospect calls, client visits, and presentations
Facilitate the onboarding of new and converted clients
