Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of experience in MRO storerooms (preferred) or 1 year in inventory management environments
Understanding of maintenance and reliability processes, preferably in food or CPG manufacturing environments
Working knowledge of inventory management software, preferably CMMS Software/Maintenance Connection
Strong understanding and ability to properly identify electrical and mechanical parts

Responsibilities

Manage operations of assigned storeroom(s) with guidance from the storeroom Leader, including executing stocking, critical spares, and stock disposition activities
Implement and maintain corporate organizational standards within assigned storeroom(s) and ensure alignment between the CMMS and physical inventory locations
Champion best in class inventory accuracy and spare parts reliability, including proper storage and PM of spare parts
Support and train maintenance department personnel on location and identification of inventory, and provide additional training and support as needed
Ensure accuracy of CMMS data in assigned storeroom(s) and escalate issues to the leader; utilize proper nomenclature for parts
Continually review inventory against corporate standards for min/max, stocking, and disposition; propose changes through proper channels
Achieve targets for storeroom metrics including zero stock outs of critical spares and 100% of parts assigned to BOMs; report performance metrics to site leaders
Execute cycle counts on schedule and at or above targets; communicate inaccuracies and create action plans with Storeroom MRO Leader
Implement corporate storeroom standards and best practices; complete assigned maintenance activities to ensure part longevity and reduce infant mortality
Execute kitting process supporting maintenance work cycle
Identify form, fit, function equivalents within storeroom for consolidation and communicate to MRO Storeroom Leader
Interact with local supplier representatives to build effective relationships, including support for vendor managed and consignment agreements
Understand and use corporate taxonomy standards to identify parts, including addition and correction in the CMMS
Perform additional duties as assigned
Execute tasks in a safe and efficient manner, collaborate with teammates, manage personal time, demonstrate personal responsibility, and respect others’ time
