Background in maintaining pumps, mechanical seals, vessels, filters, strainers, exchangers, piping, relief valves, gear drives, reciprocating and centrifugal compressors or turbines
Willingness to work extended hours as required in 24/7 operations
Availability to take calls after hours and weekends to assist with coordinating maintenance technician emergency call outs and support plant activities
Proficient in the use of SAP and Excel to provide lists/spreadsheets for purchase order/cost tracking
Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering specifications, vendor/supplier documentation, piping and instrument diagrams, blueprints, drawings, and procedures
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Capable of making decisions, prioritize workload, and multi-task
Drives responsibilities through to completion with safety as priority

Minimize total expensed cost by maximizing work force and resource capabilities through prioritizing, planning, and scoping of maintenance work orders in the safest and most efficient manner at La Porte Area Texas sites
Assist in backlog reviews and prioritization of activities with the Maintenance Supervisor
Assist in developing work scopes and estimating cost related to labor, materials, equipment, and special tool requirements to complete jobs safely and cost-effectively
Track and provide updates on progress of day-to-day jobs on the daily maintenance schedule
Report status updates to Maintenance Supervisor and Superintendent
Drive and participate in all aspects of the company’s safety and reliability programs and culture
Constantly interface with site personnel, contracted crafts, equipment suppliers, tool rental providers, engineering, and functional support services
