Requirements

  • Up to six months of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance; agriculture milling experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Basic computer skills for training purposes
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Ability to obtain and retain PIT Certification
  • Rehire criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days and no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods
  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation (climbing, standing, bending, sitting, carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs multiple times monthly, work in varying temperature conditions, overtime and weekends as needed)

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and disassemble equipment
  • Housekeeping responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain mobile equipment
  • Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment
  • Engage in physical activities such as climbing, standing, bending, sitting, and carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs multiple times monthly
  • Work in varying temperature conditions, both hot and cold
  • Work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Follow instructions and communicate effectively
  • Loading and unloading Rail Cars and Trucks
