Must have three months of consecutive work history with one employer within the last 12 months and/or participating in relevant training/schooling in the last 12 months
Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math calculations
Strong physical ability: must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 70 pounds periodically, bend, and stand for 100% of production hours
Must be able to work around breader dust and in a temperature of 50 degrees F or less
Must be able to handle responsibility and have good communication skills
Must work at a moderately fast rate and be neat with work
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

Operate machinery to ensure continuous flow of product through the production process and proper ingredients/supplies are used on the line
Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed (palletizer machine, wrapper machine, case taper, and case coder)
Notify supervisor if machines require maintenance
Ensure the case coder is properly working and applying the correct code
Manifest pallets both manually and electronically, complete pallet locator sheets, and production log
Perform housekeeping in the area
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned by Lead or Management
