Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, and have at least 3 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on machine learning model deployment. Strong experience with Big Data technologies and experience with deploying and maintaining Machine Learning models are essential.

Responsibilities

The Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for building data pipelines to process billions of items, creating services that provide Search or other Information Retrieval capabilities, crafting API design, integrating data layers with customer-facing applications, and designing and running A/B tests in production. They will also contribute to the overall architecture and maintenance of eBay’s Product Knowledge system, optimizing software performance, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of the platform.
