Requirements

Candidates should possess a solid foundation in machine learning, classifiers, statistical modeling, and multivariate optimization techniques, with at least 10 years of experience including at least 5 years in technical roles involving Data Science, Machine Learning, or Statistics. A Master's or B.Tech degree in Computer Science or Statistics is required, along with proficiency in Python, Java/Scala, SQL, Hive, and Spark. Experience with DNN frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch on large-scale datasets, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, GenAI, and RAG pipelines is highly desirable, as is a general understanding of data structures, algorithms, multi-threaded programming, and distributed computing concepts.

Responsibilities

The Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for developing classifiers, predictive models, and multi-variate optimization algorithms on large-scale datasets, with a focus on R&D in areas such as conversion optimization, bidding algorithms, reinforcement learning, and forecasting. They will collaborate with Product Management to bring AI-based Assistive experiences to life, drive all aspects of ML product development including modeling, data/ML pipelines, quality evaluations, productization, and ML Ops, and create a team culture focused on sound scientific processes. Furthermore, they will handle project scope and risks, and be a self-starter working closely with other data scientists and software engineers to build production-ready models and algorithms, while also managing in a high-growth, matrixed organization and delivering cloud-scale, data-driven products.
