Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have at least two years of experience building production machine learning engineering systems within a team environment. They should also have at least one year of experience working with modern cloud-native platforms and languages such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and demonstrate a strong understanding of fundamentals of machine learning through coursework or prior job experience, including the ability to build and evaluate a Deep Neural Network (DNN) from scratch. Furthermore, candidates must have experience fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) and multi-modal models using supervised and reinforcement learning, and experience designing reward functions or graders for Reinforcement Fine-Tuning, particularly with LLMs.

Responsibilities

The Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining reliable, secure, and scalable software solutions utilizing modern cloud-based paradigms, including CI/CD, DRI, and on-call practices. They will also contribute to the development of AI agents using agentic frameworks like LangGraph or AutoGen, and create end-to-end agentic AI applications from scratch. Additionally, the role involves optimizing GPU usage for model training and inference, and proactively seeking help and iterating in a changing product landscape, demonstrating a quick and self-driven learning approach.
