Responsibilities
- Teach engaging lessons in English for elementary level mathematics to students (PreK-G6) using the Think Academy curriculum
- Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment that fosters a love of mathematics
- Work with a class of approximately 8-16 students
- Identify and address individual learning needs by providing personalized assistance
- Grade homework and perform other related key teaching services
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences/meetings as needed
- Hold office hours and provide 1-on-1 help to students
- Foster a safe and respectful learning atmosphere
- Develop tailored mathematical learning plans for students based on their abilities and goals
