Requirements

Expertise in multi-language development including Scala for big data, Python for native serverless, and C#.NET for APIs and other applications
Proficiency in modern, cloud-native applications using .NET 8+
Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) for scalable, resilient microservices
Knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and RDS
Strong emphasis on quality and automation, including unit, integration, and behaviour-driven testing
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps tooling
Ability to work in a high-performance agile engineering team

Responsibilities

Work as a lead engineer in an agile team to deliver high-quality software solutions within agreed timelines, ensuring alignment with business requirements and agile principles
Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and agile principles
Take ownership of the overall technical architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and maintainability of the software systems
Champion the adoption of best practices in software development, including clean code, maintainability, efficient coding standards, and DevSecOps practices
Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members, including product owners, designers, QA, and other stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business objectives
Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes, ensuring alignment with architectural standards, long-term technical strategy, and business goals
Manage technical risks and issues, proactively identifying potential challenges and developing mitigation strategies
Provide clear and concise documentation for code, processes, and system architecture to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintainability for yourself and the team
Translate business requirements to clean, scalable code ensuring minimal defects for yourself and the team
Mentor and guide senior and junior developers, providing technical expertise and code reviews
