Responsibilities

The Lead Records Associate will manage, organize, and maintain case files and related records, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance. This includes opening new case files, indexing, filing, and organizing documents, as well as scanning and uploading records to the electronic database. The role involves maintaining file rooms, assisting staff with file retrieval, preparing case files for closing and storage, and handling document shredding and disposal. Additionally, the associate may cover receptionist duties, train interns, assist with trial binders and exhibits, support paralegals with external record acquisition, and help with mail room operations.
