Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 6 years of experience using build and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitHub, or Artifactory)
- At least 4 years of test automation experience
- At least 4 years of experience with AWS
- At least 2 years of team leadership experience
- Strong understanding of software quality assurance principles, security, performance, and reliability
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience with AWS
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience with Xray, Confluence or Zephyr
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners and engineers, to ensure the final product meets all requirements and appropriate testing has been planned
- Translate business requirements into quality specifications and provide quality direction for the product team
- Guide technical teams to ensure solutions are built with a quality mindset
- Continuously improve software engineering practices
- Oversee and ensure the quality of test plans, test cases, test matrix, and bug reporting
- Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies
- Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience and scalability of solutions
- Stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community
- Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization and diversity
- Utilize scripting languages like Python, SQL, Ruby and Groovy, Container Orchestration services including Docker and ECS, CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and a variety of AWS tools and services
