• Brief Description: We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to establish and lead a team focused on providing a best-in-class experience for our customers. This role involves full-stack development, API services (C#), SQL databases (AWS), front-end applications (Node.js, React, Redux), and native iOS and Android applications. The ideal candidate will be a strong technical leader with a collaborative approach and a passion for innovation.

Requirements

• Experience: Experience as the ‘expert’ on a development team, responsible for planning and delivering key features.
• Programming Languages: Expertise with at least one object-oriented language like C# or Java.
• .NET Framework/Core: Experience with .NET Framework or .NET Core is preferred.
• Relational Databases: Strong relational database skills using technologies like MySQL or SQL Server.
• Front-End Technologies: Familiarity with modern client JS frameworks, such as Node.js, React, and Redux.
• Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with AWS services and infrastructure.
• Native Mobile Development: Familiarity with native application development (iOS or Android).
• Testing: Ability to write automated comprehensive test suites at all levels of the architecture.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Take ownership for the design, development, maintenance, testing strategy, and operations of a full-stack team.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with business leads across the company to define milestones and deliveries for new functionality.
• API Development: Design, build, and maintain API services primarily in C#.
• Database Management: Manage SQL databases hosted in AWS.
• Front-End Development: Develop Single Page Applications primarily in Node.js, React, and Redux.
• Mobile Application Development: Develop native iOS and Android applications.
• Design & Delivery: Lead team in design sessions and ensure high-quality work aligned with mission and platform goals.
• Agile Development: Work with team under fast deadlines to design, build, and deliver innovative applications, prioritizing agility and scalability.
