Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with 7+ years of experience
  • Proficiency in schematic entry and PCB design using tools like OrCAD, Allegro etc
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Established project management skills

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and addressing field issues, component obsolescence and circuit optimizations to realize cost reduction on Install base products
  • Follow the well-defined product development lifecycle, design documentation, compliance to quality management system (QMS) requirements
  • Identifying and developing new opportunities to leverage Strategic Sourcing objectives and Common Technology initiatives in the modality product line
  • Conducting EMI/EMC/ESD/Reliability tests, debug issues and modify design to meet the standards requirements
  • Working with cross functional teams and generating ideas and opportunities for cost savings for manufacturing the product
  • Owning cost savings initiatives and driving it across the suppliers, interface with manufacturing facilities etc
  • Analysing IB issues, conducting detailed root cause analysis, testing proposed solutions, documenting the same as per the recommended templates and ensuring timely closure of reported issues
