Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with 7+ years of experience
Proficiency in schematic entry and PCB design using tools like OrCAD, Allegro etc
Good oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
Established project management skills

Responsibilities

Analyzing and addressing field issues, component obsolescence and circuit optimizations to realize cost reduction on Install base products
Follow the well-defined product development lifecycle, design documentation, compliance to quality management system (QMS) requirements
Identifying and developing new opportunities to leverage Strategic Sourcing objectives and Common Technology initiatives in the modality product line
Conducting EMI/EMC/ESD/Reliability tests, debug issues and modify design to meet the standards requirements
Working with cross functional teams and generating ideas and opportunities for cost savings for manufacturing the product
Owning cost savings initiatives and driving it across the suppliers, interface with manufacturing facilities etc
Analysing IB issues, conducting detailed root cause analysis, testing proposed solutions, documenting the same as per the recommended templates and ensuring timely closure of reported issues
