  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience)
  • Advanced experience in Engineering/Technology, Electrical Component and RF
  • Working knowledge of RF design and experience
  • Experience with RF troubleshooting and simulation tools
  • Experience using RF lab equipment
  • Background with supplier selection
  • Experience in full design cycle
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Established project management skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop RF & mixed signal designs used in a Magnetic Resonance (MR) system
  • Interface with a global team to design, test and implement analog, mixed signal & digital designs as part of cost productivity projects and new product introduction
  • Leverage knowledge of digital and mixed signal design techniques to ensure a quality design
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of RF design and use prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute
  • Use in-depth understanding of key business drivers to accomplish own work
  • Understand how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area
  • Use some level of judgment and propose different solutions outside of set parameters (with guidance)
  • Use prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks
  • Access technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems, using multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions
  • Provide informal guidance to new team members (as an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or early people leader)
