Qualified Chartered Accountant with a bachelor's degree
Advanced subject matter expertise in finance and accounting
Experience with drafting and reviewing Financial Statements and Notes to Accounts under IFRS / Local GAAP
Ability to handle large statutory audits, manage remote audit requirements, and close audits on time
Experience handling and finalizing audits for India and regional entities with Big4 firms
Ability to coach and review work performed by level 1 controllers
Expertise in GAAP reconciliation between US GAAP and IFRS / Local GAAP
Skills in drafting tax computations, Deferred tax accounting, and filing Income/Corporation tax returns
Proficiency in consolidation, inter-company transactions, reconciliations, and foreign currency accounting
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal financial policies

Responsibilities

Driving Audit, tax, and compliance for overseas entities
Drafting and reviewing Financial Statements and Notes to Accounts under IFRS / Local GAAP
Handling and finalizing audits for India and other regional entities with Big4 firms
Coaching and reviewing work performed by level 1 controllers
Performing GAAP reconciliations between US GAAP and IFRS / Local GAAP
Drafting tax computations and Deferred tax accounting
Filing Income/Corporation tax returns
Managing consolidation, inter-company transactions, and reconciliations including foreign currency accounting
Ensuring accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance with internal policies
Reviewing Balance Sheet accounts reconciliations
Gathering financial data and performing financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing)
Driving the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, and long-term) by analyzing trends and ensuring alignment with objectives
Communicating and driving adherence to GAAP and organizational financial goals/policies
Representing financial results correctly internally and externally with fiduciary responsibility
Ensuring strong business controls
Applying advanced knowledge to solve complex issues, leading project teams, providing expertise on process improvements, and representing the organization externally
