The Lead Biostatistician requires a Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, and possesses at least 8 years of experience in biostatistical analysis, with a strong preference for experience in pharmacovigilance or clinical research. A deep understanding of statistical methods and regulatory guidelines is essential, along with proficiency in SAS or R programming languages.
The Lead Biostatistician will be responsible for collaborating with investigators to develop study protocols and statistical analysis plans, independently performing sample size and power calculations, developing and disseminating final analytic reports to clients, and leading client-facing conversations regarding study design and statistical aspects of safety-related research. They will also contribute original ideas to research projects and oversee the design and analysis of studies evaluating drug safety, particularly within pharmacovigilance and registry coordination efforts.
