Requirements

Experience creating DVP&R for different OEMs
Experience working with external laboratories for material, paint, and thermo-mechanical testing (e.g., plastic material tests: flexural strength, impact test, chemical resistance, paint adhesion; paint coating tests: adhesion test, steam jet test, humidity test, high/low temperatures, accelerated weathering, stone chip, chemical resistance, impact test)
Experience with thermo-mechanical testing on final product assembly (e.g., pull tests using force gauges or universal tensile machines, shaker test, climatic tests, infrared test, sunload test)
Experience with fixtures for testing (concept, design, and validation) for thermo-mechanical testing
Knowledge of bonding processes
Experience with adhesive tape validations
Experience with glue failure mode analysis
Knowledge of paint processes
Knowledge of materials (different resins for automotive industry)
Knowledge of laboratory equipment (ability to establish internal methods for serial control based on customer requirements)
Deep knowledge of norms and international standards
Knowledge of different adhesives such as tapes and glues

Responsibilities

Creation of DVP&R for different OEMs
Working with external laboratories for material, paint, and thermo-mechanical testing
Conducting or overseeing specific tests: plastic material (flexural strength, impact test, chemical resistance, paint adhesion), paint coating on plastic substrates (adhesion test, steam jet test, humidity test, high/low temperatures, accelerated weathering, stone chip, chemical resistance, impact test), thermo-mechanical on final product assembly (pull tests, shaker test, climatic tests, infrared test, sunload test)
Concept, design, and validation of fixtures for thermo-mechanical testing
Handling bonding processes
Performing adhesive tape validations
Conducting glue failure mode analysis
Applying knowledge of paint processes, materials, laboratory equipment, norms/international standards, and adhesives to validation engineering tasks
