Requirements

  • Board certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP or WHNP) in the state of California with an unrestricted license
  • Able to provide primary care and gynecology care, supporting all aspects of women’s health with compassion and empathy
  • Adept at providing primary care services including annual exams and pap smears, hypertension management, diabetes management, anxiety and depression management, urgent care concerns (e.g., coughs, sore throat, abdominal pain), basic dermatological condition management, STD screens, UTI and vaginal infections consults
  • Highly tech savvy and facile with technology
  • Willing to work some evenings (one evening shift per week) and weekends as needed by schedule
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Motivated to elevate women’s care using a shared-decision making approach; believes patients know their bodies best and acts as a partner on their health journey
  • Tolerant, inclusive thinker who believes in sex-positive, no-judgment, radically inclusive healthcare

Responsibilities

  • Provide affirming primary care for women, including gynecological services, primary care, procedures, and holistic whole-person care
  • Deliver direct patient care as an integral part of the care delivery system
  • Participate in formation and iteration of the care model, including technology development, interdisciplinary case studies, protocol development, and innovation
  • Work in Tia’s East and West LA Clinics with a flexible schedule (part-time or full-time, 10-hour or 8-hour days, start times 7a-9a or 10a-12p, including one evening shift per week)
